Noticed a little stutter but that seems to have disappeared after HB bridge. Running in 3840 x 2160, getting about 200fps in BF4 on high settings, around 120 on BF1 and 100ish on Shadows Of Mordor both settings auto.

I wouldn't bother with ryzen, it'll be a lower IPC than your skylake with (more than likely) lower total clocks due to have 4 more physical cores.

gtx 1080ti is coming out within the next 4 weeks, I'd personally (and going to get myself) one of them. much like the 980ti it'll have AIB cards so should overclock pretty well and even beat a pascal titan

Your cpu is good for a few years anyway (not point in upgrading till at least 10nm process in late 2018)

going from a titan x to a 1080ti (from rough ti specs leaked) should net you around 30-40% boost in gpu power.

more importantly pascal is far better in dx12 than maxwell, and it's alot cooler/efficient my 1080 doesn't ever exceed 60c at max load (just an msi with decent fans)

hey Clown how's the setup treating you?

more specifically , the motherboard? needed to swap out my MSI as my new fans needed proper 4 pin headers and the standard socket wouldn't let me OC my cache much.

just ordered a rampage edition 10! yours been all good? you used the DAC drive bay thingy at all?

I've got the DAC bay installed and working but use G35 USB headset so it's just sat doing nothing at the moment. MB seems ok done a little o/C but not much seems to be a bit temperamental booting sometimes but I think that may be due to the 3600 RAM not being supported (maybe next BIOS update), a quick press of the MEM OK button sorts it out though. Otherwise, MB is great except for the lack of USB2 headers, it's got two but one is used by the front base unit which left 1 for DAC and six case USB sockets, bought a small USB hub with 4 headers that sits at the bottom of the case out of site.

oh cool, happy with mine atm, thankfully I only needed the one usb header for the DAC as the front ports are usb 3.0 connectors on my case.

rgb Leds are nice! pushed my 5960x up to 4.7ghz so far!

Just ordered this baby from Scan https://www.scan.co.uk/products/3xs...dr4-8gb-evga-rtx-2070-xc-500gb-ssd-2tb-win-10

AMD Ryzen 7 2700X CPU
16Gb RAM
500Gb SSD
2TB SATA drive
GE Force RTX 2070 Graphics card

£200.00 off in the Scan sale and I did a bit of shopping around the usual suspects and couldnt find either the same spec or for that price. I'd change a few things but I've got my current PC I can rob those bits from before I break it down to sell the parts.

Should allow me to play BFV at near maximum and best of all it comes on Saturday morning (3 days time)
