    Pretty good update. I know they have reduced gas time from 25 to 16 seconds duration but I would still like to see the gas nades changed to 1 instead of 2. The other weapon balance passes all look quite good and happy I got a buff on some of my favourite guns.

    The new game mode is fun but my god you need a good squad, the games i had only had snipers on my team and no medics, its hard to hold a position when the team don't know whats going on at all

    Quick comments after a few games of yesterday:
    - Soissons (fields and a village) is quite alright, especially when the fighting goes into the village
    - Rupture (snipers' fest) is a snipers' fest
    - Verdun (I guess this doesn't need any explaing lol) is otherwise interesting, but if the other team fails to get the game rolling right in the beginning, they're in trouble.
    - Fort de Vaux (Locker) is actually a VERY huge Locker and a complex one, so no matter where you run, sneak, rush or attack, you'll be shot or stabbed in the back!

    My personal favourite is Operations, 64 players, sometimes also Rush; I learned to love the big maps once again after the BF1 was launched. I simply need clear front lines :)

    I like Fort de Vaux but the recharging grenades is a bad change, i dont know how this got through CTE

    i made a thread about it on the official forums, as I couldn't find anywhere to give feedback , in summary your main grenade recharges magically every 36 seconds (less when next to a crate) , even when you are sprinting and have no ammo box, grenades magically reappear

    This is OP at high level infantry play I dont know how this attempted to reduce grenade spam, anyway not a major issue (just a minor annoyance) but makes the game even more casual.
    Maybe can be disabled server side, or as part of Classic mode, if ever releases.

    They finally added domination tickets to 200 instead of the pathetic 100 tickets. I waited so long for that damn fix! I can't stand the aeroplanes and behemoth anymore!

    save your space on your hard drives dont bother the maps are still bugged and personally totally rubbish
    one map 3 flags and they still have tanks on it
    i wont be playing the new ones again
    we needed servers not new maps

    Some of the maps look simply ashtonishing, e.g. Tsaritsyn city map with debris all over the place - and the music is epic. But the problem at least in the big maps of Operations is the ridiculous number of snipers. ok, it's part of the game, but enough is enough...In most of the maps you have absolutely no possibility to fall back when you lose the territory, unless you're already in the back of the map; you'll be sniped away when you try to retreat.

    RO2 Heroes of Stalingrad, Rising Storm and the current Vietnam pack have tight limits to special classes, nearly everyone has to pick up a rifle with iron sights. This balances the game a lot. To do that in BF1 you'd need an unranked server, and I'm not sure if you could do it anyhow. But the funny system to keep the server closed until it's full enough of players effectively prevents the renting of a clan server.

    What a disator the russian dlc,,Tsar city should never got through testing. This is the worst map design I have ever played. It has three flags just like metro etc, but centre flag has two choke point entrances, no flank route. The interior has yet another single route into the top floor. It looks like the side windows should be enterable but their either glitchy or not designed for that...

    Awful design and no way to counter the first team that arrives at b. This map is a joke.
    In addition the new challenges yet again force grinding terrible weapons and are literally near impossible, examples: kill 15 enemies with HE claymore, which I havent even done with 100+ hours of scout, the only redeeming factor is the medic gun unlock finally enabling medic to fight in cqb...
    Next you have the cte balance coming which will buff LMG and sub machine guns. Yes hellreigel and Automatico will have a faster ttk. Not very impressed :(
