Yeah, dusty alright

Took windowless sidepanel off for photo.
P1000637.JPG

taken with flash. Homemade desk..had it for ages, still does the trick nicely. Think it's about 15 years+ old? :p
P1000639.JPG

More or less cleaned the desk, the main part anyway. On left of pic there's still some clutter visible.

WIthout flash: looks a bit more cosy..

This was a budget build, I need a new case for better ventilation (I want the H440), I need to grab 8GB more of ram and I want to overclock the CPU and GPU once I get the new case for better cooling (might even get the new water block that EK just released for my card).

CPU: i5-4690K
GPU: Gigabyte R9 390 Windforce 8GB Gaming G1
RAM: HyperX DDR3 1600MHz 8GB

Just curious, but why do you use a Freesync monitor when you have 2 G-sync ones and an Nvidia graphics card?

Btw, I'm only jealous cus my pc is soooooo boring! :(

As Darcy said its actually pretty simple to do.

I started being quite fastidious about cable management, not having any cables just "knocking about" inside the case, from that I went to mild interest in cold cathodes and sparkly fans...my last build was cutting out side panels to insert plexi and lighting up the insides with a custom water loop in a mini ITX case.

It all starts with a spark of interest and the rest is just trying stuff out :)

bad cable management doesn't increase temps inside your case, it actually makes no difference. If anything, all it does is make your rig look really untidy inside xD

Wrong,it does make a difference, but with modern cases,it is only a degree or two.It was only a few years ago that you could make 15-25C temp drops.A lot of modern cases are designed to allow for idiots to just throw parts in and not even look at temps(its why the case industry is sooooo slow)
