I've just pre-ordered my copy of test drive unlimited 2 on steam - If you pre-order you get the pagani zonda free its £24.99 i love first one Its a fully freeroaming driving, racing game which you can have all your friends right there with you at any time heres some details

if you played the first one this is a huge improvement for example little things like indicators for when your cruising with friends so you can let them know where to go ect, dynamic weather ( slippy wet roads ect, )

Friends can come over to your crib ( you can 1st person walk around casinos, car showrooms and people houses aswell as your own ) so you can show them your cars, house ect.

Full Character customization aswell as full house customization and car.

The game as far as i know supports 12 people in once instance so you can have 12
friends on the map driving and racing together, Police and AI traffic can be set to none or extreme ( traffic jams on motorway and lots and lots of cars to weive in and out of.

I will warn you if you go through red lights and a cop see's you he will give chase pull you over and fine you.

foo will like this next bit because theres 600km of roads but there is over 2000km of dirt and mud, 1000km of dirt roads, hills, cliffs ect wen it rains also the sand and mud become sticky and like tar so yes its possible to get stuck,

there is also day night so the game will cycle through time,

Wide range of cars the official list hasnt been released but there are over 125 cars, to customize, tune, race, cruise with

You can also buy different houses located around the island so you dnt have to go all the way back across to change your car you just pull into your nearest house on the map, there are casinos, to win money and cars also as the jakcpot aswell the the 1,000,000 jackpots.

car damage can be turned on

There is also in game co-op driving ( for example i can get into knightvipers passenger seat while he drives round and races in tournement and challenges.

One great thing about this game is a mode called HARDCORE mode this makes the car extremly realistic to drive , extremely fun for sand and road drifting,

i will warn you its a good hour - hour n half to drive completely around this island but for me most of it will be offroading

here are some vids theres a few but there labelled some things i thought ud like to see.

Trailer of island ect

I'm a beta tester for this game and while the driving model has improved somewhat, it's still far from realistic. The hardcore mode (or "hypersport" as it was originally called) feels nothing like driving a car. You don't feel any weight shifting when breaking/cornering, nor is there any suspension. The cars feel like floating bricks that happen to have wheels attached.

Even games like GTA4 and Mafia 2 have more faithful driving models than this. Collisions are as arcade as they get. Your car bounces off obstacles and gets dirty. A fender may bend.

Driving on gravel feels like boating. Your top speed is arbitrarily limited and there's less friction. That's it. Feels pretty unreal having a 500 horsepower car unable to break 70 mph on gravel because of the limiter.

If the glaring problems with the physics get fixed, this could be a contender. Especially if driving is your thing and you like open world games, collecting cars and paraphernalia.

Oops, there goes my NDA.
